# What You Need:

01 - 8 slices sourdough or rustic baguette
→ Toppings
02 - 6 oz brie cheese, sliced
03 - 1 large crisp apple (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith), thinly sliced
→ Hot Honey
04 - 3 tbsp honey
05 - ½–1 tsp hot chili flakes or hot sauce, to taste
→ Garnish (optional)
06 - 1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme or rosemary
07 - Flaky sea salt
08 - Freshly ground black pepper
# Directions:
01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Place bread slices on the baking sheet and toast in the oven for 4 to 5 minutes until they begin to crisp.
03 - Combine honey and chili flakes or hot sauce in a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl. Warm gently until heated, then set aside.
04 - Remove toasted bread from oven and layer each slice with brie, then top with apple slices.
05 - Return assembled slices to the oven and bake for 3 to 4 minutes until the brie is melted and bubbly.
06 - Remove from oven and immediately drizzle each toast with warm hot honey.
07 - Sprinkle with fresh thyme or rosemary, flaky sea salt, and freshly ground black pepper if desired. Serve warm.
