03 - 1 clove garlic, halved
04 - 1 tablespoon fresh herbs (parsley, thyme), finely chopped
# Directions:
01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
02 - Cut the baguette into ½-inch thick rounds.
03 - Arrange the baguette slices in a circle on a baking sheet, with each slice slightly overlapping the next to form a ring.
04 - Lightly brush the top of each slice with olive oil, rub with the cut side of the garlic clove, and sprinkle with fresh herbs if desired.
05 - Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until the bread is golden and crisp.
06 - Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving as a centerpiece or plating for dips and spreads.
