# What You Need:
→ Pastry
01 - 2 sheets ready-rolled puff pastry (each approximately 8.8 oz), thawed if frozen
→ Filling
02 - 6 tablespoons Nutella or other chocolate-hazelnut spread
→ Topping
03 - 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
04 - 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for dusting)
# Directions:
01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
02 - Unroll both sheets of puff pastry and place one sheet on the prepared tray.
03 - Evenly spread the Nutella over the pastry sheet, leaving a 0.4-inch border around the edges.
04 - Place the second puff pastry sheet on top, aligning the edges precisely.
05 - Position a small glass at the center without pressing down. Using a sharp knife, cut the pastry into 16 equal strips radiating from the glass to the edges, forming sunray shapes.
06 - Gently twist each strip 2 to 3 times. Optionally, pinch the ends together to create a snowflake effect.
07 - Remove the glass and brush the entire pastry surface with the beaten egg to achieve a golden finish upon baking.
08 - Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, until the pastry is puffed and deeply golden brown.
09 - Allow the snowflakes to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm or at room temperature.
