Oreo Snowman Cake Pops (Printable)

Festive Oreo snowman treats combining crushed cookies, cream cheese, and smooth white chocolate coating.

# What You Need:

→ Oreo Dough

01 - 36 Oreo cookies (approximately 1 package)
02 - 6 ounces cream cheese, softened

→ Coating & Decoration

03 - 12 ounces white chocolate or candy melts
04 - Mini chocolate chips or black decorating gel for eyes and buttons
05 - Orange sprinkles or colored icing for nose
06 - Pretzel sticks or colored fondant for arms and scarves
07 - Lollipop sticks

# Directions:

01 - Place Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until finely crushed.
02 - Mix crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese until a smooth, uniform dough forms.
03 - Roll dough into 32 small balls (about 0.8 inches) and 16 slightly larger balls (about 1.2 inches).
04 - Stack one small ball atop one large ball for each snowman, gently pressing to adhere. Insert a lollipop stick through the center of each snowman and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
05 - Freeze the assembled snowmen for 20 to 30 minutes until firm.
06 - Melt white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
07 - Dip each chilled snowman into melted chocolate, turning to coat evenly. Allow excess to drip off and place upright in a styrofoam block or cup to set.
08 - While the coating is tacky, add mini chocolate chips or decorating gel for eyes and buttons, and use orange sprinkles or icing for the nose.
09 - Once set, decorate with pretzel arms and fondant scarves as desired.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • They look so charming on a dessert table that people genuinely gasp before eating them.
  • The cookie-and-cream filling tastes indulgent without requiring any actual baking.
  • Kids can help decorate them, which makes the whole afternoon feel less like cooking and more like play.
02 -
  • If your cake pops crack when dipped, they weren't cold enough, so freeze them longer next time.
  • Chocolate that's too hot will slide right off the frozen center, so test the temperature on a scrap of paper first.
  • The white chocolate sets faster at room temperature than you'd expect, so have all your decorations ready before you start dipping.
03 -
  • A styrofoam block from a craft store works far better than any improvised holder for drying these upright.
  • If you want professional-looking decorations, invest in a small bottle of edible gold dust to add shimmer to the scarves.
